I was reading Vampire Hunter D: Nightmare Village last night and it just makes me so so SO very happy whenever anyone fawns over D's fucking beautiful face (it happens a lot lmao). It's just such a great constant and makes me laugh so much.

"And you object to going with me?"

"No, it's an honor."

Greylancer swing his long spear. The roaring wind from it tousled D's hair, but the inhumanly beautiful face it framed wore a smile. It was the sort of smile to make any who saw want to brag for the rest of their lives that they'd been the one to put it there.

Shinjuku is really fun so far! It's a good lighter little adventure after the super angst heavy Camelot/Babylonia/Solomon chapters lmao. What I didn't expect was for Moriarty to be so fucking charming holy shit. I wasn't planning on rolling for him (gonna try to get Arthur later this month) but I ended up throwing 15 tickets at him (didn't get him). Oh well. Sherlock always vaguely annoys me (not for any real reason though) and this chapter is no different, Jeanne and Saber are cute, and Lobo is ADORABLE.

Got some cute rings and bracelets from the recent Alex and Ani sale lmao. So cheap! I really like the adjustable rings a lot. It solves the problem I have of not being able to shop for rings online because I need to make sure they fit well. Amazing! Also a cute Prosciutto charm because The Grateful Dead episodes (Jojo's Bizarre Adventure) that aired recently were ridiculously fantastic, holy shit this adaptation is everything I wanted from Vento Aureo. ♥♥♥


Speaking of love, I did a lot of the valentines from this year's Fate/Grand Order event and they were all great (especially Dantes') but fuck Quetzalcoatl was my favorite. I just love her so much. Like she was ridiculously charming in the Babylonia chapter so I just impulsively rolled for her and fuck I'm so happy I got her. Everything she does just makes me happy.

I bought Junji Ito's Frankenstein (and some other short stories) and it is just lovely like all his work. The cover art is also really beautiful.

Saw Dragon Ball Super: Broly yesterday and I SUPER LOVED IT. I loved Dragonball Super to pieces and I've missed it since it ended and this movie was just a fun little entry in that. Vegeta's fights were my favorite as usual lol.

I had a nightmare last night which hasn't happened in a really long time. Like a lot of terrible things tend to happen in my dreams but I'm not scared or concerned at all so I wouldn't call them nightmares. This one actually scared me and I felt pretty sick when I woke up. It was about me standing outside on a sidewalk in a nice neighborhood. It was winter and snowing fairly heavily. There was a large really furry sort of dog in front of me, really friendly and happy and cute, and then it suddenly started running and flew up into the air and just flew away. I watched it go and noticed that the trees were incredibly tall and then I flew up in the air super high and then started plummeting to the ground. And then flew up again in the air and fell back down over and over again. I'm scared of heights so this was terrifying lmao. And then I woke up.

I can't say I enjoyed the nightmare but its been so long since I've felt like actual fear in a dream that it's interesting. Still terrifying though lol.

I had some car trouble recently because my neighbor decided to back up from their driveway without looking and hit me. Which should have been just a dent and some scratched off paint but they were going at I GUESS RAMMING SPEED so it was enough damage that the entire bumper and lights had to replaced. Which their insurance took care of so it's fine but ugh so annoying. SO ANNOYING.

Went to Birmingham (Alabama) for a Set to Stun show this weekend:




Birmingham is a pretty cute city but a lot smaller than I expected lol. Lots of amazing food though.

Objectively, I have difficulties opening up to people about problems I have in my life. I say "objectively" because while I know it's good to talk through problems with people and that you get lots of valuable insight from other people's point of views along with their own unique experiences, I've never "felt" that it was a problem so to speak. Which bothers me in a way because I feel like I "should" feel bad or worried about it but I don't.

Whenever I have worries or a problem or a difficult decision I need to work through I never want to talk about it to other people. It's not that I don't think people will listen or be empathetic but more like it's overwhelming in a weird way. It's like my own personal private thought process, when working through my own problems, is a quiet stream and it takes time but it's steady and peaceful and I know myself and I know what I want and what I don't want so I trust the conclusion that it ends up at. And then other people's thoughts and advice is like someone throwing rocks into that stream. Like even if they mean well, it's just more things to take into account, more debris to filter through, and more distractions.

I started playing 7th Dragon III Code: VFD and it is super fucking adorable. The customization options for characters is nice and I LOVE being able to pick voice actors.
