velshtein: (JUSTIN ALFENDI old partner)
Watched The World's End yesterday and it was a lot more touching and emotional than I was expecting. I liked it.

Played Gone Home last week. I really enjoyed the atmosphere and honestly found the story lovely. I mean it wasn't like a really amazing story but it was sweet and well written and made me smile a lot. cute for spoilers )

Kentucky Route Zero was odd and beautiful and a little haunting and I really enjoy vague horror weirdness so I loved it a lot.

Devil Survivor is going well. I'm having a bit of trouble with an escort sort of mission which I'm not really surprised at because I usually have lots of trouble with escort/protection missions since my first instinct is to use hapless civilians as human shields. BUT I'LL FIGURE IT OUT. I'LL KEEP THESE BASTARDS ALIVE.
velshtein: (JUSTIN ALFENDI what you did)
So last night I started playing Devil Survivor because I found a cheap copy while out yesterday. Looks pretty promising so far.

Anyways I started playing pretty late last night and felt sleepy so I figured I'd try out something on my TO WATCH list and picked Yukikaze and oh god I just marathoned all five episodes and loved it so much. It was a LOT more depressing and somber than I expected, which was still nice. The action was lovely (all those beautiful jets~~~~), the story was pretty interesting and oh god Rei's and Jack's relationship was so fucking sad I ended up crying quite a bit.

Oh god and Yukikaze (the AI) itself was wonderful ughghhhhhgh. ♥♥♥♥♥♥

Also Jouji Nakata's beatufiul voice nnnghghhhh I could listen to him all day.
