Watched The World's End yesterday and it was a lot more touching and emotional than I was expecting. I liked it.
Played Gone Home last week. I really enjoyed the atmosphere and honestly found the story lovely. I mean it wasn't like a really amazing story but it was sweet and well written and made me smile a lot. I feel like part of the reason I wasn't totally impressed by the story is because you play as a big sister learning about her little sister and as a big sister of a younger sister myself, I tend to (unfairly) not take her very seriously?? Like when she waxes on about her boyfriend I just get all eye-roll-y about how dramatic young/first love is and I think I did that during the game?? Like learning about Samanatha and Lonnie falling in love was nice but I was all WHATEVER. FIRST GIRLFRIEND. GOOD JOB. WHERE ARE YOU? ARE THERE DEAD BODIES IN THIS HOUSE? ARE YOU DEAD, LITTLE SISTER? Idk.
Kentucky Route Zero was odd and beautiful and a little haunting and I really enjoy vague horror weirdness so I loved it a lot.
Devil Survivor is going well. I'm having a bit of trouble with an escort sort of mission which I'm not really surprised at because I usually have lots of trouble with escort/protection missions since my first instinct is to use hapless civilians as human shields. BUT I'LL FIGURE IT OUT. I'LL KEEP THESE BASTARDS ALIVE.
