While I'm generally always up for cute fictional men rolling around with each other, I'm a lot pickier with actual romance stories. Most of the time I prefer romance in fiction to play second to something else: adventure, action, sci-fi nonsense.
This morning though I (really randomly to be honest) read twenty-three chapters of Yuuutsu na Asa/Blue Morning and now it's honestly my favorite BL series ever. I mean there wasn't much competition but holy shit I loved it:
It's sweet and sad and I cried way too much through it and lmao it hit some of my favorite kinks ever: older uke (the butler! ♥♥♥), younger seme, age difference, butler/master dynamic and Katsuragi (black hair! the butler!) is so stupidly pretty I just want to ogle him all day. Plus the social/class issues are interesting. ♥ Warning for some noncon scenes though.
One another note, the pre-release images for the first episode of Samurai Flamenco are very cute. The MC is super adorable looking and lmao is actually looks-wise reminding me a bit of Andy from The Unlimited gheugheuh. ♥♥♥ Same studio too! 8D
