Akuma no Riddle episode 7:

This is going to be one of those shows where I watch the entire thing and never recommend it to anyone. The characters are still making hilariously stupid decisions, which enrages me. I don't even know what to say about the end of episode 6 with the whole Romeo/Juliet thing going on. And I guess every episode is just going to be "AN ASSASSIN TRIES TO KILL HARU AND WE LEARN ABOUT HER (THE ASSASSIN'S) SAD PAST." Which would be fine if the writing was stronger. And despite all my complaining I actually really do like most of the characters a lot. It's just so sloppily written. God. There are cute moments though and I do feel sad at the sad things in the story so it's succeeding there at least.

Akuma no Riddle episode 1-4:

Lmao so I watched the first episode, found it to be below average, complained about it to

rabiya_al_basri and

stopongreen and then promptly watched the next three episodes. I actually liked episode 2 quite a bit because it was sweet. In a pretty dramatic and kind of cliche way. But it was still decent. But then episode 3 started that thing where characters make hilariously stupid decisions so the plot keeps moving in specific ways. Which gets tiresome. Anyways so far it's okay in an average sort of way, reminds me of Danganronpa and is just entertaining enough to watch while I'm working out lmao. What a ringing endorsement.

But seriously I really am annoyed that it's not that good of a show so far because the premise and story had a lot of great potential. I mean tons of assassins (all women) in a weird murder game and a cute ship in the center of it should be really good. But there's like too many tired stereotypes, with all the characters, and some lazy writing and ugh this really should have been better.

maybe I'll fight Dracula or something
