maybe I'll fight Dracula or something

I finally started going through more FKMT stuff, that isn't Akagi.

I watched the first season of Kaiji which made my heart hurt a lot. And my soul. And my head. It's like watching a very specific type of torture porn (mostly emotional, but there's a fair amount of physical by the end, good god). Kaiji is a really sweet dude too, which makes me sad.

I read up to what was scanlated of Gin to Kin and oh god it's like an adorable love story. ♥♥♥ I can't wait for more.

Buraiden Gai was short and sweet and made me really happy by the end.

And oh god I loved Tobaku Haōden ZERO and it's direct sequel Tobaku Haōden ZERO Gyanki-Hen SO MUCH. I love Zero. He's so sweet and good hearted AND JUST WANTS TO HELP PEOPLE ABOVE ALL THINGS AND GHGUEHGSDKJFHG. Both parts end on a pretty intense cliffhanger, which is maddening AUGHHGUGHGGHH I CAN'T WAIT FOR THE THIRD PART.

The second Attack on Titan OST is out and sounds great and I REALLY miss watching the anime every week. ♥♥♥♥

This morning I woke up really early, after falling asleep late while rereading Akagi, started reading the next chapter, had a giggle fit at these two pages (all that drama homg):



and then passed out again. Fukumoto draws the BEST faces I love them so much. ♥♥♥

Also cracked up a lot because of one of Hajime Isayama's old blog entries (lmao the man loves his MMA) about how he named Levi after the same named kid from Jesus Camp:

Which is really really amusing to me for no particular reason other than how random it is. I mean it is a nice name so I guess it's not too weird or anything, but still. Jesus Camp. Now I kind of want to see freaky church subplots with Pastor Nick and him.

So I rewatched Akagi recently, for the first time in a long time, and it reminded me to catch up with the manga and so I did and LMAO ENDLESS WASHIZU MAHJONG. I love it though. 200+ chapters of one night of mahjong THAT'S GREAT. Really excellent.

Anyway catching up with that just made me want more so I thought about finally watching Kaiji BUT THEN I NOTICED SOMEONE TALKING ABOUT BASEBALL!AKAGI AND OMG I WATCHED ONE OUTS. Lmao Toua is totally baseball!Akagi, with the same VA, and aaaaah I really loved it. Also the manga art is gorgeous. I really dig how western it looks:


Lmao one downside of watching Akagi and Toua run around for a week or so is that's it's given me A FUCKING TREMENDOUS CRAVING FOR A CIGARETTE. I don't smoke often and not even enough to keep any at home on a regular basis BUT UGH I'VE BEEN CRAVING ONE FOR DAYS LIKE I CAN FUCKING TASTE IT.
