I would set the world on fire for you
God I've been way too distracted for the last couple of days with the new MGSV stuff and other E3 related things that I totally missed that there was a new JJBA All Star Battle trailer:
WITH ROHAN OMG. AND KAMIYA HIROSHI VOICING HIM. OMG. He sounds a bit younger than I expected BUT IT'S GOOD. I LIKE IT. AND OH GOD BUCCELLATI. ♥♥♥ ;;;;;;;; AND A LOT OF OTHER PEOPLE THAT I ALSO LIKE BUT FEEL WAY LESS STRONGLY ABOUT EEEE. I hope there are a few more character reveals though. I can understand Jojolion only have one character (even though I'd like more) because of where the story is right now (not very far), BUT I WANT AT LEAST A FEW MORE PEOPLE FOR STONE OCEAN AND STEEL BALL RUN. Plus those two parts have a few really important ladies (especially compared to the other parts) that I'd love to see included. ;;
Also LisaLisa and a Phantom Blood Dio. (WHICH MEANS THERE MIGHT BE THREE DIOS RUNNING AROUND BUT IT'S ALL GOOD.)
And speaking of new MGSV stuff (warning for graphic torture and gore):
GOD THE EXTENDED TRAILER. I love how uncomfortable it made me feel, which is pretty appropriate to where the story is heading towards so it's great. And while I like Keifer Sutherland just fine and think he'll probably be decent in the role, I MISS DAVID HAYTER'S VOICE SO MUCH. LIKE A LOT. LIKE I KEEP EXPECTING IT IN THE TRAILER AND AM WEIRDED OUT WHEN I DON'T HEAR IT. ;;

I don't....think so. It's been a while since I've read it. I know I heard that the translation is a lot better than Part 4's, but the english is still pretty terrible. I also heard that the crappy translation loses A LOT of the nuances of the way the character's speak so you lose a lot of personality. Like the characters end up a lot flatter because of the poor translation, even though the plot is still a lot of fun.
And omg I love ridiculous mafia stories
IT'S A FUN ITALIAN MAFIA STORY. And Araki's vast love for Italy shines a lot in that part too.
ALSO, I remember seeing a fan-comic where it said Giorno was a vegetarian??? IS THAT TRUE!?
HE MIGHT BE. I don't really remember but I do remember the main cast eating a lot and talking about vegetarians at one point while they ate. XD
I kind of really love that idea of becoming the villain which is a really interesting twist on how the story progressed/began which is essentially, everyone gets fucked up.
YES. If done properly it should be a pretty disturbing and possibly distasteful game to play through (AND DEF A DOWNER ENDING). WHICH IS PROBABLY NOT SUPER GREAT but that would stay true to what Big Boss and co become. Like it shouldn't really make anyone HAPPY to see what happens to everyone. It'll probably be super weird too for anyone picking just V up without playing any of the earlier ones. :D

Completely agreed on all accounts. I guess the only MGS game you could SORT of play as a standalone is Snake Eater (♥♥♥♥♥) and I GUESS the original Metal Gear lmao.

Apparently it's one of the main reasons why Part 5's popularity is so different in the english fandom (usually one of the least favorite parts) and the japanese (super popular). There are around 23 chapters already redone so you can get started on it while waiting for new Part 4 chapters if you want. XD WARNING THAT TWO CHARACTERS FROM PART 4 MAKE AN APPEARANCE IN THE BEGINNING SO YOU'LL BE SPOILED THAT...KIRA DIDN'T MURDER THEM GHEUGHEGUH.

Snake Eater is possible to play without the others, but you do miss some things like how different BB is from Solid Snake, that BB used to be a good person, AND HOW HILARIOUSLY STUPID YOUNG!OCELOT IS AFTER SEEING HIS OLDER SELF. XD Plus the significance of things like the beginning of Ocelot's torture fetish and BB's and Ocelot's relationship with each other which puts the things Ocelot did in MGS1/MGS2 in a different light.
