I think it's one of the saddest moments in Phantom Blood: Jonathan standing in the burned rubble of his home where his father was murdered and where he had to kill Dio and HE'S JUST STANDING THERE SAD AND HOPING THAT THE MASK IS BROKEN SO HE CAN MOVE ON. ;;;;;;;;; Poor baby. I don't know what horrors Jonathan did in a past life to deserve SO MANY TERRIBLE THINGS but it makes me sad.

Just the first time at the mansion, when Dio first turned into a vamp. Phantom Blood should be done in a few episodes though (I would guess three/four episodes), at the rate they're going. And right now I think just parts 1 and 2 are set in stone to do but the long-term plan is parts 1-6 at least, I think (since they're all in the opening), if dvd sales are good and all.
