Hakkenden episode 21:
So I caught up with Hakkenden today. I enjoyed the first season a lot and am enjoying this one just as much BUT OH GOD THIS WEEK'S EPISODE. BROKE ME HEART. I was literally a sobbing mess by the end of it, which I didn't expect AT ALL since it's one of those episodes that's just a standalone story (which works fine enough without seeing the rest of the series actually). But ugh this series. It's not something I'm super invested in since I never think about it outside of watching the episodes, and I tend to let episodes pile up before watching them but IT'S NICE. It's a fairly low-key fantasy story that I can turn my brain off with. ♥♥♥
