So I caught up with Attack On Titan a few days ago, thoroughly enjoyed it and then realized that it's getting an anime adaptation in like two weeks eeeeeeee~~~~~

And it looks pretty great from the trailer aaaaaaah. I really liked the premise (giants came and ate most of humanity) and I also really adored how the female military characters (it's a military focused story) are just treated like the male military characters. There's no sticking them on pedestals or making sure they're in demeaning positions which I'm really grateful for. ANYWAYS EXCITED. *_*

Shingeki no Kyojin = badass male + badass female.
I'm glad that there's no mini skirt unifrom military.

Agreed! I love that everyone gets to wear the same practical uniform instead of sticking the ladies in something uselessly fanservice-y.

Yes. This is the second shonen series I know that ave badass ladies + no fanservice other than Fullmetal Alchemist. No Smurfette Principle also.
