starry night

Oh my god this episode. I was still feeling a bit down about last week's episode and more so when I noticed people talking about how Urobuchi might have gotten the inspiration for the brutal murder of that woman (last week) from the horrifying murder of a Nitro+ employee (Nitro+ being where Urobuchi works). :(

Anyways I had to skip through (on mute) almost all the violence in the first half of the episode good god. (I STILL GOT THE GIST AAAAH). It was just too disturbing for me to watch. I like my fictional violence A LOT more divorced from reality. BUT I GUESS THAT'S SUCCESSFUL WRITING, SINCE IT WAS MEANT TO BE DISTURBING. GJ UROBUCHI, YOU CONTINUE TO MAKE ME WANT TO HIDE UNDER MY DESK.

I loved this scene so much. It was so domestic and cozy and I love Philip K. Dick and I totally agree with Makshima's feelings of paper vs digital and page turning lmao. Or it was just a nice contrast TO THE HORRORS EARLIER LMAO.

Wow this was just about the most depressing briefing I've ever seen. :(

AWW AKANE IS SO CUTE. I love that despite how capable and smart she is, there are lots of moments showing her inexperience. ♥♥

And I really need to stop being surprised every time Kogami does some detective work BECAUSE, YOU KNOW, HE USED TO BE ONE. XD
