THIS EPISODE. Okay I have to confess that there is one part of the novels that I didn't actually read (I skimmed) and it was this VERY LONG FLASHBACK. It's not because I don't like Kiritsugu but more like the timing was so bad, for me. This flashback was crammed between Kirei and Gilgamesh's conversation where Kirei told him about Tokiomi planning to make him commit suicide and the scene where Kirei kills Tokiomi. SHIT IS GETTING REAL. THINGS ARE WINDING DOWN/UP. IRI IS GETTING WORSE. KIREI KNOWS WHERE SHE IS HIDING. GILGAMESH DECIDED TO BETRAY TOKIOMI. SABER GOT A MOTORCYCLE. AND THEN. AND THEN THIS FLASHBACK. Lmao it went on forever (OKAY NOT THAT LONG. but long compared to the very short glimpses everyone else gets) and I skimmed through it AND SAW STUFF ABOUT VAMPIRES AND WAS ALL "WELL I'LL COME BACK TO THIS. BECAUSE I JUST WANT TO KNOW HOW THIS WAR IS GOING TO END."

And then I forgot to. XD

Lmao I was kind of amused that Kiritsugu's dad seemed to be spending a lot of time creating UNHOLY DEMON FLOWERS.

Kiritsugu's little!boy crush was awfully cute though. ♥

I was excited to see these guys.

And these guys. I really want a story about The Church and The Mage Association murdering the hell out of each other. 8D ANYWAYS IN CONCLUSION, KIRITSUGU WAS AN ADORABLE LITTLE BOY AND SOMETIMES HORRIBLE THINGS HAPPEN ON PRETTY ISLANDS.
