I've been waiting for such a fucking long time for this whole arc to finally be animated and UGGGGH IT'S BEEN REALLY GOOD. I wasn't a huge fan of the Chimera Ant storyline when I read it but the anime is really making me like it a LOT more. ANYWAYS THE GON/KITE REUNION IS WHAT I WAS LOOKING FORWARD TO THIS EPISODE (AND DREADING BECAUSE OH MY GOD IT'S TOO CRUEL).

AAAAAAH. GON'S FACE WHEN HE REALIZED HOW MUCH KITE'S BEEN TORTURED/MUTILATED. ;;;;;;;;;;;;; And holy shit Madhouse did such an excellent job with this scene: lighting, music, direction and oh god the horrible metal wire stretching sounds whenever Kite moves. ;;;;;;;;;;;;;

IT'S NOT OKAY. AT ALL. ;;;;;;;;;;;

AND OH GOD THIS BEGINS. Gon's massive massive MASSIVE feelings of guilt, which turn into a desire to be punished and eventually to him being self-destructive/suicidal. ;;;;;; WHY WOULD ANYONE WRITE A STORYLINE LIKE THIS FOR A TWELVE YEAR OLD CHILD. ;;;;;;

And oh god poor Killua having to watch this and not being able to help or alleviate Gon's pain at all. ;;;;;;

I ALWAYS WANT CUTE HUGGING SCENES BUT NOT LIKE THIS. NOT LIKE THIS. I'm so upset because Gon hugging him is literally all he can do now. ;;;;;;;

GON'S FAAAACE. ;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;; I'M NEVER GOING TO STOP BEING UPSET ABOUT THIS.

AND THIS HOPE. GON'S HOPE THAT HE CAN FIX THIS GHEUGSLDKFJSLKDFJSLKDJFKLSDF. THIS IS TOO UPSETTING.
