My internet's mostly...okay now. It's been out for most of the week and lmao when it was working it would work for literally a minute and then go out for a few and come back on. Which was too maddening to work with so I mostly gave up.
I finally watched Fate/Prototype, which is a short showcase about Nasu's original version of Fate/stay night. I LIKED IT. Male Saber is very very very cute but I honestly prefer Arturia to Arthur, I think*. The white haired evil priest guy (who I assume was Kirei's prototype) is lmao so manic omg. I'm really happy Kirei wasn't written the same. THE ARCHER GUY (HEY GILGAMESH) SEEMED ABOUT THE SAME AS MISTER KING OF HEROES. And omg I'm am instantly WAY more interested in Ayaka as the MC than I ever was and will be about Shirou. ♥♥♥
Anyways fun stuff and I'd love it if it ever got a full adaptation. ALSO HOMG THE VAS. Takahiro Sakurai as Saber (MAKSHIMAAAAAA), Kazuya Nakai as Lancer (I'LL ALWAYS HEAR HIM AS ZORO NO MATTER WHAT), Takehito Koyasu as the Evil Priest Guy (DIOOOOO) and Mamoru Miyano as Rider (wheeee I'm still hearing Chrollo from him as a result of rewatching a bunch of Hunter x Hunter). A++++ VOICE CAST I LOVE IT.
ALSO LMAO I JUST REALIZED THAT AYAKA'S VA DID AKANE FROM PSYCHO-PASS AND SABER'S DID MAKSHIMA OMG. Akane summoning Makshima (who does have really nice fighting skills AND could be considered a hero to whoever agreed with what he was doing) in a Holy Grail war IS HILARIOUS. And the best. And now I want a Holy Grail Psycho-Pass AU.
And hahahah Archer wasn't voiced by Seki Tomokazu (Gilgamesh's VA) in Fate/Prototype BUT IF HE WAS IT WOULD BE EVEN BETTER. Since Kougami was voiced by Seki Tomokazu. So Akane as a Master with her Servant Makshima fighting the fabulously evil Kougami lmao. XD
*I keep thinking about and now I think I could probably love him just as much as Arturia. The playfulness is a nice touch (reminding me of Rin's Archer) and some of his Makshima-esque lines later in the Fate/Prototype showcase intrigues me a bit hmmmm.
