So I'm watching the Hunter x Hunter anime. The 2011 one. It's one of those series that I always meant to read/watch for YEARS but never got around to it. But Daisuke Namikawa voicing Mister Terrifying Pervert Clown?? I am all over that lmao.
It's one of those series that I think would have creeped me out a lot, when I was little, but now I generally find it mildly disturbing and inappropriately funny. Not too bad. I like it.
The world itself though is completely disturbing. I think it's the contrast between the sweet happy-go-lucky main character and how bright and cheery everything looks, to all the violent and gruesome death going on THAT NO ONE EVER BATS AN EYE AT LMAO.
