I watched Broken Blade over the last two days (six short movies) and oh my god I don't know if it's because I haven't seen a mecha series in a while but it was really really great. The ending was a bit too open-ended for my tastes but it works alright. The animation was gorgeous though especially the mech fights (which are really the highlight of the whole thing). ♥♥♥ ANYWAYS GOOD FANTASY/MECH/WAR/DRAMA.
Still kind of emotional about this week's The Unlimited: Hyoubu Kyousuke. I really really really got sucked into it in general (as you can see by my spamming my tumblr with it for weeks now lmao).
But Hyoubu's and Andy's character singles came out this week SO I'LL JUST LOOK FORWARD TO THAT AAAAAH I LOVE CHARACTER SONGS. The cheesier the better. ♥

BRAINS IN TANKS OMG.
I don't remember if this is the first time they've mentioned this, but it's really interesting. I'm assuming Makshima spent time outside of the country and Choe mentioned being an immigrant but I never really made the connection that they were coming from a Sybil-less place, although I guess that's pretty obvious lmao. I guess the government would have to keep the people isolated from the rest of the world, to an extent, to keep people happy?? Or maybe the "crime-free" lifestyle is enough to keep the population satisfied?? Hmmm.
Choe was probably right about the people freaking out that their big safety computer system is just a bunch of humans judging them. I don't know about the rioting part but I guess I can see it, if Choe/Makshima had managed to get the information online before the helmet riots were stopped. Since the people would be all riled up already.
Makshima is terrible beyond belief but I can always appreciate someone who has a love for reading. ♥POOR CHOE NEVER GOT TO READ PHILLIP K. DICK. POOR CHOE.
THIS WAS GREAT. I CHEERED. And then cracked up because what I was cheering on is visually a teenager beating an old lady to death lmao. How terrible.
I swear to god, this guy.
And lmao awwww this was rather sweet (ignoring most of the circumstances). ♥
