Caught up with Zetsuen no Tempest! I really like it a lot. Psycho-Pass is higher on my list because I'm more emotionally invested in the characters than Zetsuen's. BUT. Zetsuen is so much fun to watch. It's draining though and the tension kind of kills me. I love how creepy all the disconcerting details that Yoshino notices are (it reminds me a bit of the horror and weirdness a character feels if they realize they're just characters in a book or something), I love how despite Mahiro and Yoshino being the main characters the story is really about Hakaze and Aika, and I love how the plot twists genuinely kind of freak me out. ALSO I REALLY REALLY REALLY ADORE ALL THE HAMLET QUOTING. It's definitely my favorite thing that Shakespeare ever wrote and the idea of Yoshino being the Horatio to Mahiro's Hamlet tickles my fancy. ♥
Samon freaking out the entire episode cracked me up and made me feel really bad for him. Part of it is because I'm not sure who's right about the world's fate, Hakaze or Samon, and part of it is because HE'S SEEMS LIKE SUCH A STRAIGHT-LACED DUDE AND THESE KIDS AND A DEAD PRINCESS ARE MESSING UP HIS PLANS LMAO. Also part of is because he has Kiritsugu's VA and HIM BEING SO HORRIFIED THAT MAHIRO IS SO WILLING TO DESTROY THE WORLD AMUSES ME. AND MAKES ME SAD.
