Summer time means vacation and LOTS OF READING so I ambled over to the local public library to settle my debts (because I am so great at racking up late fines) and it was only $7.50 so I paid up and:
IT'S BEAUTIFUL. 8D
So I was thinking about Fate/Zero's Heroic Spirits and some of the nods towards their respective legends and:
LMAO I have no idea why this connection never crossed my mind before because I knew about the snake in his legend (which is where the snakeskin Tokiomi used to summon him comes from) but HIS PANTS. HIS PANTS KEPT GRABBING MY ATTENTION LIKE A HALF-REMEMBERED THOUGHT JUST OUT OF REACH AND IT WASN'T BECAUSE OF THE HEAVY-HANDED TEMPTING-SERPENT IMAGERY BUT NOW I CAN CALM THE FUCK DOWN AND STOP THINKING ABOUT HILARIOUS PANTS.
Lol looking through the Epic of Gilgamesh's wikipedia page does remind me that it's BASICALLY THE STORY OF THIS GUY AND THE MILLION RIDICULOUS THINGS HE DID. <3
