I bought the first three volumes of Mobile Suit Gundam: The Origin because I adore it and because this release is oversized so I won't have to try and fit like twenty-three books on my shelves (and also because I have an aunt that loves showering me with random gift money).

OVERSIZED, HARDCOVER AND 100% GLOSSY PAGES OMGGGG. Also heavy as fuck.

Lmao the glossy-ness of the pages don't even show up in this picture BUT IT'S BEAUTIFUL.

The color pages ARE EXTRA GORGEOUS.

THEY REALLY GET THE IMPORTANT PARTS OF THE STORY ACROSS.

THE SUPER IMPORTANT PARTS.

And the extras in the back are pretty good like the illustration galleries.

And lovely things like CLAMP's take on Amuro WHICH IS PRETTY MUCH SUZAKU LMAO. ♥♥♥♥♥

And this adorable deck of cards BECAUSE JUST THE THOUGHT OF THIS GETTING AN ANIME ADAPTATION IS FORCING ME INTO FULL FANGIRL MODE.

THE COVER IS SO CUTE. SO SO SO CUTE.

Card back is pretty decent.

I'm amused how the cards split things up by suit: MECHS ARE SPADES.

HEARTS ARE WOMEN.

CLUBS ARE MEMORABLE MOMENTS.

AND DIAMONDS ARE MEN. Very pretty lmao.

AND! When Amazon shipped The Origin volumes, they stuck in the two Attack on Titan volumes that came out already from my previous order! SO NO HAVING TO WAIT UNTIL DECEMBER FOR ALL OF THEM. \o/ They're beautiful and I love the fake previews at the end of the volumes.
