I started watching Casshern Sins last night (no spoilers please! also i've never seen the original). So far (up to episode 7) it's amazingly beautiful. It's also probably the most depressing story I've seen in a really long time. Not like crying/weeping sad in the way that more dramatic stories make me feel but like actually depressing/despairing. Like it brings my mood down to a hilariously bleak and morose level. But I really love it so far. And the soundtrack is gorgeous. ♥
